Prof. Dietmar Grichnik

Dietmar is a leading researcher in the field of entrepreneurship, innovation, and finance. He is Director of the Institute of Technology Management at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), where he also leads the Chair for Entrepreneurship. Shortly, Dietmar was elected among the Top100 Entrepreneurship professors globally. His research is published in leading field journals and he is also author of „Entrepreneurial Living“. As former banker and current investor, Dietmar is actively engaged in teaching and supporting entrepreneurs, especially in the university environment.

Prof. Manuel Hess

Manuel is an assistant professor at the Chair for Entrepreneurship of the University of St.Gallen. He is a lecturer to students, entrepreneurs, and executives for Entrepreneurship and Business Metrics. Manuel’s research focuses on entrepreneurial finance and specifically the influence of board members on new venture success. As project manager of the St.Galler Startup Navigator Lab, he is responsible for applied research and use of the Navigator methods in new ventures and corporates.

Diego Probst

Diego is Managing Director at the Center for Entrepreneurship of the University of St.Gallen. He is responsible for Startup@HSG – the Incubation Program of the University. Prior to joining Startup@HSG, he held leading positions at the Institut für Jungunternehmen (IFJ) for the initiatives venturelab and venture kick. He is active in the startup-business for over 10 years. With his experience he coaches student entrepreneurs and is involved in executive teaching.

Sarah Maria Nordt

Sarah Maria is a research associate, PhD student, and project manager at the Chair for Entrepreneurship of the University of St.Gallen. She is managing the Entrepreneurial Talents Program, the official incubator program of the University of St. Gallen for promising entrepreneurial talent. Sarah Maria is the founder and CEO of the FashionTech startup SANOGE, an innovation-driven brand with a special focus on premium ladies business apparel. Alongside to her practice-driven specialization on FashionTech and digital innovation, Sarah is strongly focusing on entrepreneurial finance.

Michael Greger

Michael is a research associate, Ph.D. student, and Project Manager at the Chair for Entrepreneurship of the University of St.Gallen. He conducts research on ventures that are in the process of scaling up. Michael also supervises bachelor and master courses in Entrepreneurship as a teaching assistant and advises young entrepreneurs at Startup@HSG.

Maria Luisa Fuchs

Maria Luisa is Project Manager at Startup@HSG responsible of a series of initiatives to inspire, enlighten and accelerate entrepreneurship at the HSG. She is also board member by startups and SMEs focusing mainly on scaling business. Maria Luisa has a Master in International Business from the EAP-ESCP School in Paris and has been engaged for the last 20 years in marketing strategies and grown initiatives for small, medium and big corporations. She supports female entrepreneurship through actively participating in diverse business women associations as speaker as well as host.

Robert Schreiber

Robert is a research associate, PhD student, and Project Manager at the Chair for Entrepreneurship of the University of St.Gallen. He supervises bachelor and master courses in Entrepreneurship as a teaching assistant. In his research, he uses diverse neuroscientific and behavioral approaches to study human decision-making on a neural level. Robert is a food entrepreneur and advises young entrepreneurs at Startup@HSG.
